“Some of the Ichinawa-Kai performers do not wish to have public profiles. Things are somewhat different between East and West in regards to publicity, fame and ego. The purpose of inviting some of the performing members of our Ichinawa-Kai group is to bring added value to a long weekend of learning, sharing and developing in the art of Japanese Rope Bondage. And the reality of it is IF YOU DON’T COME YOU WON’T KNOW.

What to expect? A packed programme of learning, sharing, socialising, creativity and fun. And with thanks to this year’s exceptional lineup of guests, we’ll be seeing many different interpretations of Japanese Rope Bondage by both east and west. And it’s NOT just the Japanese guys people should be looking out for! We’ve got plenty of UK and EU talent at the festival too. And it’s this talent that our Japanese visitors are coming to see. Everyone is coming to learn. Everyone is coming for the Festival Weekend.”

That said, it was lovely to see a picture of us hugging on your about page on the site.

Those that were on sale at Toubaku sold in a matter of hours and prices are considerably higher now. Original paintings are £1,500, so I expect limited edition prints will be around £250-£300 but don’t quote me.
