harper is a lifelong bondage enthusiast who went public in 2004 and launched his [1] Convolvulus websites shortly after. He’s a firm believer in their theme of “Real Bondage For Fun”, and he’s equally committed to rope education.

harper also runs [2] ForumBondage in partnership with Esinem, and he coined the term “neobari” for ropework that combines eastern and western influences. His own tying has become increasingly Japanese-influenced over recent years.

harper will be presenting sessions on an in-depth look at basic knots in Japanese and other bondage styles, a very hands-on study of hogties, and some issues about the security of Japanese ties and the dynamics of escape attempts in Eastern and Western bondage styles.
