No title. (2009-2010). Papier maché heads, tied with different media strings.
I consider my heads as a materialization of the state of the unaware captive, particularly captive of our own brains, our own thoughts. I look for the formal possibilities that the face and head offer, emphasizing what I call energy points on the face where the strings join most. Then I started last year it was the first time I became aware of a bondage link to my work. Now I like being bound and I know that tying up people can be a source of pleasure, and I’m still exploring and experimenting.
