Mary Sappho

Mary, whose nickname is Sappho, loves art, life, shibari, bdsm, nature and sensuality. She is  now 43 years old and lives in Belgium.

Art is not her job but a real passion, a deep need in her life. As far as she remembers, she always drawn and painted, having always a pen or pencils in the hands.  She has also been a photogrpaher since she was a teenager. Her influences and sources of inspiration are symbolism, “art nouveau”, fetish and gothic esthetism, shibari and bdsm.

What she does the most at the moment are drawings made with china ink on paper and photos illustrating her passions. She uses as model photos made by other photographs as Ivy Nawashi, David Lawrence, Vivien Iso 400 or Andy Julia, or her own photos.
